Advancing Policies for Independence, Opportunities, even Property Tax Relief
Transit at a Crossroads:
Transit cuts or transit improvements? Decisions are being made now.
Did you know that Milwaukee County’s transit system is in a state of financial crisis that will result in dramatic service reductions and reduce options for future transit improvements?
This does not bode well for the independence of seniors and others who rely on transit, or will need to rely on transit in the future, especially at a time when better transit service has been identified as a need for seniors in Wauwatosa.
There is however a solution in progress that would also provide property tax relief, spark job growth, and reduce traffic congestion.
Decisions on the future of transit will be made in the coming weeks.
