Racine County Board Supports Regional Transit
The voices of many citizens, and the leadership of Chairman Hansen and several county board members, resulted in a positive message going forward from the Racine County Board in support of regional transit. The Board’s decision helps to position Racine for success in addressing its challenges and leveraging its many opportunities by giving people access to more opportunities and more jobs, improving their ability to bring new businesses and jobs to Racine, and giving people more affordable and convenient commuting options that will save money and help communities build wealth.
The visionary supervisors who voted to move Racine forward by supporting transit and jobs, economic growth, and a sustainable future are to be applauded.
